The work Calligraphy In Cursive-Script by Lin Sanzhi was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October this year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 144,000.00 (€ 17,414.08), 44% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lin Sanzhi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Poem In Caoshu, which sold at auction in April 2017 for HKD 525,000.00 (€ 61,968.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 44 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Cursive-Script von Lin Sanzhi wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 144.000,00 (€ 17.414,08) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Lin Sanzhi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Poem In Caoshu beobachtet, die im April 2017 für HKD 525.000,00 (€ 61.968,79) versteigert wurde.
