A top price for Lin Qinsong - as previously expected
In May 2017 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Zen Landscape by Lin Qinsong. The auction ended at the price of HKD 350,000.00 (€ 39,965.29), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 280,000.00 – 350,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Zen Landscape is the most expensive artwork by Lin Qinsong that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai 2017 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Zen Landscape von Lin Qinsong zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 39.965,29) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 280.000,00 – 350.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Zen Landscape das teuerste Kunstwerk von Lin Qinsong, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
