The work The Immortal #10 by Lin Jyu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. It achieved a price of HKD 120,000.00 (€ 12,053.30), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lin Jyu; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Transfigured Cross sold at auction in May 2007 with the realized price of HKD 204,000.00 (€ 19,424.96).

Die Arbeit The Immortal #10 von Lin Jyu kam im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 120.000,00 (€ 12.053,30) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Lin Jyu; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Transfigured Cross im Mai 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 204.000,00 (€ 19.424,96).
