This artwork by Lin Haizhong achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2014. In the The Enchantment of Neoteric Chinese Ink auction, the work Tea Brewing sold for HKD 287,500.00 (€ 29,598.96) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lin Haizhong; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Mighty Spring Clouds sold at auction in June 2015 with the realized price of CNY 259,600.00 (€ 37,541.22).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Lin Haizhong erzielte im Oktober 2014 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Enchantment of Neoteric Chinese Ink wurde die Arbeit Tea Brewing für HKD 287.500,00 (€ 29.598,96) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Lin Haizhong; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Mighty Spring Clouds im Juni 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von CNY 259.600,00 (€ 37.541,22).
