In April 2021 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Who Can Play? by Lin Hairong. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,423.94), 71% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lin Hairong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Das Schweigen., which sold at auction in June 2008 for CHF 26,400.00 (€ 16,432.11).

Im April 2021 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Who Can Play? von Lin Hairong zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 6.423,94) und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Lin Hairong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Das Schweigen. beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für CHF 26.400,00 (€ 16.432,11) versteigert wurde.
