Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Opera Figure by Lin Fengmian was sold in the Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2006. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 102,000.00 (€ 9,891.56). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lin Fengmian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work FISHING VILLAGE in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 39,740,000.00 (€ 4,842,584.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Opera Figure von Lin Fengmian wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 90.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 102.000,00 (€ 9.891,56) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lin Fengmian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit FISHING VILLAGE im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 39.740.000,00 (€ 4.842.584,61).
