Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flower And Bird by Lin Fengmian was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. The price achieved of HKD 42,000.00 (€ 5,240.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lin Fengmian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work FISHING VILLAGE in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 39,740,000.00 (€ 4,842,584.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flower And Bird von Lin Fengmian wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 42.000,00 (€ 5.240,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lin Fengmian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit FISHING VILLAGE im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 39.740.000,00 (€ 4.842.584,61).
