Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December this year Bonhams in London held the auction The Age of SpeedThe Grosvenor School and the Avant-garde, which included the work Sticking Up Posters by Lill Tschudi. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,320.00 (€ 9,584.32), 19% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lill Tschudi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fixing the Wires, which sold at auction in December this year for GBP 23,040.00 (€ 26,541.20).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The Age of SpeedThe Grosvenor School and the Avant-garde durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sticking Up Posters von Lill Tschudi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.320,00 (€ 9.584,32) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Lill Tschudi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fixing the Wires beobachtet, die im Dezember diesen Jahres für GBP 23.040,00 (€ 26.541,20) versteigert wurde.
