Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Madonna And Child, Before A Green Curtain With An Open Book by Liberale da Verona for GBP 40,000.00 (€ 54,318.08). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liberale da Verona achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Triumph Of Chastity in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 1,330,000.00 (€ 1,491,222.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Madonna And Child, Before A Green Curtain With An Open Book von Liberale da Verona für GBP 40.000,00 (€ 54.318,08) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liberale da Verona erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Triumph Of Chastity im Juli 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.330.000,00 (€ 1.491.222,45).
