A top price for Liao Man - as previously expected
The work Caribbean Wind No. 14 by Liao Man was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2007. The price achieved of USD 7,200.00 (€ 5,383.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Caribbean Wind No. 14 is the most expensive artwork by Liao Man that we have observed at auctions so far.
