The work After Bath by Liang Yifeng was worth HKD 540,000.00 (€ 59,083.97) to a buyer in November 2005. This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century Chinese Art at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Liang Yifeng; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Lady in White sold at auction in November 2005 with the realized price of HKD 900,000.00 (€ 98,473.28).
