A top price for Liang Shimin - as previously expected
The work Aigrette and Flower by Liang Shimin was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2006. The price achieved of HKD 66,000.00 (€ 6,400.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Aigrette and Flower is the most expensive artwork by Liang Shimin that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Aigrette and Flower von Liang Shimin kam im November 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 66.000,00 (€ 6.400,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Aigrette and Flower das teuerste Kunstwerk von Liang Shimin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
