Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Liang Juhui could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work Re-Make changed hands for HKD 4,375.00 (€ 514.85) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liang Juhui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work People And Cockroaches (Employed Farmer) (Set Of Four) in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 15,452.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Liang Juhui konnte im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art wechselte die Arbeit Re-Make für HKD 4.375,00 (€ 514,85) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liang Juhui erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit People And Cockroaches (Employed Farmer) (Set Of Four) im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 15.452,37).
