Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Christies in Shanghai held the auction FIRST OPEN | Shanghai, which included the work Poetry of the Branches by Li Zhang. It changed hands for a price of CNY 48,000.00 (€ 6,463.05) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of CNY 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Zhang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Countenance Of Flowers, which sold at auction in November 2018 for HKD 200,600.00 (€ 22,641.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Christies in Shanghai die Auktion FIRST OPEN | Shanghai durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poetry of the Branches von Li Zhang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von CNY 48.000,00 (€ 6.463,05) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von CNY 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Zhang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Countenance Of Flowers beobachtet, die im November 2018 für HKD 200.600,00 (€ 22.641,24) versteigert wurde.
