Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Magpies Flying Over Pine Trees And Waterfall by Li Xiongcai was sold in the Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors III auction at POLY in November this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 3,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 3,600.00 (€ 422.44) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Xiongcai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Waterfall in April this year with an auction result of HKD 660,000.00 (€ 673,989.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Magpies Flying Over Pine Trees And Waterfall von Li Xiongcai wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors III bei POLY versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 3.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 3.600,00 (€ 422,44) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Xiongcai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Waterfall im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 660.000,00 (€ 673.989,13).
