Description
Previously in the Collection of Lam Kin-Ming （1937-2021） 林建名（1937-2021）舊藏中國書畫 Lots 922-925 林建名，香港著名企業家。林氏早年負笈英倫，選修紡織。一九五八年歸港，參與家族生意。一九七一年，麗新製衣上市，林氏擔任董事，並將業務擴展至中國大陸及台灣。經商之餘，林氏雅好藝術，與諸多本港及嶺南藝術家友善，並常獲寫贈。黎雄才行書〈花心大少〉（拍品編號922）具藏家上款，藝術家戲以「大少」昵名相稱，可見交誼非同一般。

Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy In Running Script by Li Xiongcai was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 10,240.00 (€ 1,196.54) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Xiongcai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Waterfall in April this year with an auction result of HKD 660,000.00 (€ 673,989.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Li Xiongcai kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 10.240,00 (€ 1.196,54) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Xiongcai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Waterfall im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 660.000,00 (€ 673.989,13).
