Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Buddha (Diptych) by Li Tingting was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Beijing in December 2015. The price achieved of CNY 17,700.00 (€ 2,516.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Tingting - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Objects No. 27 (Set Of Twelve), which sold at auction in April 2016 for HKD 87,500.00 (€ 9,858.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Buddha (Diptych) von Li Tingting wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Beijing versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 17.700,00 (€ 2.516,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Tingting mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Objects No. 27 (Set Of Twelve) beobachtet, die im April 2016 für HKD 87.500,00 (€ 9.858,19) versteigert wurde.
