Despite a disappointment, a good price for Li Tingting
In April 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Still Objects No. 27 (Set Of Twelve) by Li Tingting for HKD 87,500.00 (€ 9,858.19). This price was achieved in the auction The Origo Collection — Contemporary Ink Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Still Objects No. 27 (Set Of Twelve) is the most expensive artwork by Li Tingting that we have observed at auction so far.
