Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bathing In The Sun, Man And The Dog (2 Works) by Li Shuang was sold in the Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Beijing in June 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CNY 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of CNY 44,840.00 (€ 5,279.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Shuang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red And Black in December 2013 with an auction result of CNY 1,888,000.00 (€ 226,357.21).
