Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Li Shizhuo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. In the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction, the work Landscapes sold for HKD 84,000.00 (€ 8,747.59) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Shizhuo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 5,865,000.00 (€ 556,558.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Li Shizhuo erzielte im Mai 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY wurde die Arbeit Landscapes für HKD 84.000,00 (€ 8.747,59) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Shizhuo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.865.000,00 (€ 556.558,04).
