The work Landscape After Wen Zhengming by Li Shizhuo was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in April 2004. It achieved a price of HKD 59,750.00 (€ 3,878.46), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 49%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Shizhuo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 5,865,000.00 (€ 556,558.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 49 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape After Wen Zhengming von Li Shizhuo kam im April 2004 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 59.750,00 (€ 3.878,46) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 49%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Shizhuo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.865.000,00 (€ 556.558,04).
