signed Yiqi Li Shizhuo, inscribed with a poem and a dedication, and four seals of the artist, shi zhuo si yin, qin zhai, yi hai, zhong xiao di, and two collectors' seals, xi yi, wen wu xin shang. The date seal yi hai, indicates that the work was painted in 1755

Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Landscape, After Wang Meng by Li Shizhuo. It changed hands for a price of USD 68,500.00 (€ 51,372.43) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Shizhuo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 5,865,000.00 (€ 556,558.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape, After Wang Meng von Li Shizhuo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 68.500,00 (€ 51.372,43) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Shizhuo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.865.000,00 (€ 556.558,04).
