Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Li Shizhuo could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2001 for an unexpectedly low price. In the IMPORTANT CHINESE ART auction, the work Flowers changed hands for HKD 117,500.00 (€ 16,750.25) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 120,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Shizhuo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 5,865,000.00 (€ 556,558.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Li Shizhuo konnte im Oktober 2001 bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion IMPORTANT CHINESE ART wechselte die Arbeit Flowers für HKD 117.500,00 (€ 16.750,25) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Shizhuo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.865.000,00 (€ 556.558,04).
