Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Finger Painting of Flowers by Li Shizhuo for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 9,267.91). This price was achieved in the auction Important Chinese Classical Paintings: Property of the Ping Y Tai Foundation at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 150,000.00 – 300,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Shizhuo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 5,865,000.00 (€ 556,558.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Finger Painting of Flowers von Li Shizhuo für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 9.267,91) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Chinese Classical Paintings: Property of the Ping Y Tai Foundation bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 300.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Shizhuo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.865.000,00 (€ 556.558,04).
