Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art | Hong Kong, which included the work The Seventh Day Of Every Week Series by Li Shan. The price achieved of HKD 63,000.00 (€ 6,935.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Shan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rouge in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 11,210,000.00 (€ 1,154,102.15).
