Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Five Pines by Li Shan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 378,000.00 (€ 42,047.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Shan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rouge in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 11,210,000.00 (€ 1,154,102.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Five Pines von Li Shan kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 378.000,00 (€ 42.047,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Shan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rouge im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 11.210.000,00 (€ 1.154.102,15).
