Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Eagles by Li Kuchan was sold in the Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors III auction at POLY in November this year. The price achieved of HKD 28,800.00 (€ 3,379.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Kuchan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Egret by Lotus in October 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,512,000.00 (€ 168,189.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two Eagles von Li Kuchan wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors III bei POLY versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 28.800,00 (€ 3.379,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Kuchan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Egret by Lotus im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.512.000,00 (€ 168.189,06).
