Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Aquatics by Li Kuchan was auctioned at Christies in Cologne in May this year. The price achieved of HKD 277,200.00 (€ 33,225.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 220,000.00 – 320,000.00. Admittedly, works by Li Kuchan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Egret by Lotus in October 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,512,000.00 (€ 168,189.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Aquatics von Li Kuchan kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in Köln zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 277.200,00 (€ 33.225,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 220.000,00 – 320.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Li Kuchan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Egret by Lotus im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.512.000,00 (€ 168.189,06).
