Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Levent Morgök could be acquired at Sothebys in London in April 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art / Turkish auction, this work without title changed hands for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,898.91) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Levent Morgök have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2012 by the work without title at USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,717.24).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Levent Morgök konnte im April 2012 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art / Turkish wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.898,91) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Levent Morgök wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober 2012 die Arbeit ohne Titel mit USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.717,24).
