Despite a disappointment, a good price for Lev Meshberg
This work of art by Lev Meshberg could be acquired at Christies in London in November 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Russian Art auction, the work Still life with shells changed hands for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,513.62) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Still life with shells is the most expensive artwork by Lev Meshberg that we have observed at auction so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Lev Meshberg konnte im November 2017 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Important Russian Art wechselte die Arbeit Still life with shells für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.513,62) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00.
