Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work Sleeping Nude by Lev Chistovsky. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,459.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lev Chistovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Female Nude in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 170,500.00 (€ 205,173.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sleeping Nude von Lev Chistovsky zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.459,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lev Chistovsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Female Nude im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 170.500,00 (€ 205.173,93).
