Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2006 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction Russian, which included the work Reclining Nude by Lev Chistovsky. The price achieved of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 6,945.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lev Chistovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Female Nude in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 170,500.00 (€ 205,173.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2006 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion Russian durch, in der auch die Arbeit Reclining Nude von Lev Chistovsky zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.800,00 (€ 6.945,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lev Chistovsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Female Nude im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 170.500,00 (€ 205.173,93).
