Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nude With Her Back Turned by Lev Chistovsky was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in June 2006. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 6,945.52) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lev Chistovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Female Nude in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 170,500.00 (€ 205,173.93).

Die Arbeit Nude With Her Back Turned von Lev Chistovsky kam im Juni 2006 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.800,00 (€ 6.945,52) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lev Chistovsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Female Nude im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 170.500,00 (€ 205.173,93).
