The result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,903.70) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lev Chistovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Female Nude in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 170,500.00 (€ 205,173.93).

Die Arbeit Sleeping Nude von Lev Chistovsky kam im Juni 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.903,70) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lev Chistovsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Female Nude im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 170.500,00 (€ 205.173,93).
