In November 2003 Christies in London held the auction Important Silver, Russian Works of Art and Paintings, which included the work Reclining Nude by Lev Chistovsky. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,019.00 (€ 7,204.85), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lev Chistovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Female Nude in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 170,500.00 (€ 205,173.93).

Im November 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion Important Silver, Russian Works of Art and Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Reclining Nude von Lev Chistovsky zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.019,00 (€ 7.204,85) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lev Chistovsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Female Nude im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 170.500,00 (€ 205.173,93).
