This work of art by Leslie Carr could be acquired at Christies in London in May 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Vintage Posters auction, the work Southern Electric, Now To Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham And Maidstone changed hands for GBP 750.00 (€ 921.77) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Other works by Leslie Carr have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2001 by the work The Petrolea running through the Channel at GBP 822.50 (€ 1,378.94).
