The work Male Nude Studies: Two Works by LeRoy Neiman was sold in the American Art Online auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August this year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,560.00 (€ 2,361.84), 71% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by LeRoy Neiman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Football Star Constellation in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 430,000.00 (€ 385,235.62).

Die Arbeit Male Nude Studies: Two Works von LeRoy Neiman wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion American Art Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.560,00 (€ 2.361,84) und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von LeRoy Neiman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Football Star Constellation im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 430.000,00 (€ 385.235,62).
