Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bill Coleman and Red Nichols Plus Two Pennies: Two Works by LeRoy Neiman was sold in the American Art Online auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of USD 896.00 (€ 826.64) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by LeRoy Neiman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Football Star Constellation in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 430,000.00 (€ 385,235.62).

Die Arbeit Bill Coleman and Red Nichols Plus Two Pennies: Two Works von LeRoy Neiman wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion American Art Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 896,00 (€ 826,64) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
