Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Houses Along the River by Leopoldo Galeota was auctioned at Il Ponte in March 2013. The price achieved of EUR 750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 700.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leopoldo Galeota - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mercato in piazza, which sold at auction in December 2003 for EUR 1,984.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Houses Along the River von Leopoldo Galeota kam im März 2013 bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 700,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Leopoldo Galeota mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mercato in piazza beobachtet, die im Dezember 2003 für EUR 1.984,00 versteigert wurde.
