The auction ended at the price of CHF 1,500.00 (€ 1,310.67), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of CHF 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leopold Ziller - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sicht auf Venedig mit Segelbooten., which sold at auction in March 2008 for CHF 6,000.00 (€ 3,826.26).

Die Arbeit Blick auf den Bosporus. von Leopold Ziller kam im September 2017 bei Koller zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von CHF 1.500,00 (€ 1.310,67) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von CHF 1.000,00 – 1.500,00.
