A top price for Leonid Frechkopf - as previously expected
The work Three Nudes by Leonid Frechkopf was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2009. The price achieved of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 42,019.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Three Nudes is the most expensive artwork by Leonid Frechkopf that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Three Nudes von Leonid Frechkopf kam im Dezember 2009 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 42.019,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Three Nudes das teuerste Kunstwerk von Leonid Frechkopf, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
