In September 2016 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Evening romance by Leonce J. V. de Joncières. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,184.84) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Evening romance is the most expensive artwork by Leonce J. V. de Joncières that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im September 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Evening romance von Leonce J. V. de Joncières zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.184,84) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Evening romance das teuerste Kunstwerk von Leonce J. V. de Joncières, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
