A top price for Leonardo di Bernardino del Signoraccio - as previously expected
The work The Annunciation by Leonardo di Bernardino del Signoraccio was sold in the Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale auction at Sothebys in London in July 2012. The price achieved of GBP 229,250.00 (€ 292,002.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Annunciation is the most expensive artwork by Leonardo di Bernardino del Signoraccio that we have observed at auctions so far.
