Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Sans titre by Leonardo Delfino was auctioned at Christies in Paris in July 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 562.50. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leonardo Delfino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Souverain II, which sold at auction in July 2010 for EUR 2,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Sans titre von Leonardo Delfino im Juli 2010 bei Christies in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 562,50 den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Leonardo Delfino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Souverain II beobachtet, die im Juli 2010 für EUR 2.000,00 versteigert wurde.
