Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Mercato della frutta. Chioggia by Leonardo Bazzaro was auctioned at Il Ponte in November 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,400.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leonardo Bazzaro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Fra Il Verde Alpino" in June 2001 with an auction result of EUR 42,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Mercato della frutta. Chioggia von Leonardo Bazzaro im November 2015 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.400,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.000,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leonardo Bazzaro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Fra Il Verde Alpino" im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.875,00.
