A top price for Leonardo Bazzaro - as previously expected
The work "Fra Il Verde Alpino" by Leonardo Bazzaro was sold in the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction at Christies in Rome in June 2001. The price achieved of EUR 42,875.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, "Fra Il Verde Alpino" is the most expensive artwork by Leonardo Bazzaro that we have observed at auctions so far.
