This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo at Il Ponte and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 800.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Leonardo Bazzaro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Fra Il Verde Alpino" in June 2001 with an auction result of EUR 42,875.00.
