Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Maternity by Léon Zack was sold in the The Russian Sale auction at Bonhams in London in June 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,377.13) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Léon Zack achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 31,450.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Maternity von Léon Zack wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion The Russian Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.040,00 (€ 2.377,13) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Léon Zack erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 31.450,00.
