Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective, which included the work Polish blau 2009 by Leon Tarasewicz. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 18,671.84). Admittedly, works by Leon Tarasewicz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Triptychon) in December 2020 with an auction result of EUR 81,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective durch, in der auch die Arbeit Polish blau 2009 von Leon Tarasewicz zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 18.671,84) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leon Tarasewicz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Triptychon) im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 81.250,00.
