Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Soleil couchant by Léon Richet was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,657.50 (€ 1,920.66). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Léon Richet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Twilight in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 22,325.00 (€ 26,404.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Soleil couchant von Léon Richet kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.657,50 (€ 1.920,66) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Léon Richet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Twilight im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.325,00 (€ 26.404,49).
